About us
Nakai Dental Office is an English-speaking dental clinic with up-to-date facilities providing General, Restorative, and Aesthetic Dentistry, including Dental Emergency, Routine Check-up and Cleaning, Fillings, Root Canal Treatment, Crowns, and Bridges.NDO is a designated dental office for foreign people by the “International SOS”. Over 20% of patients in NDO are English-speaking visitors from many countries.
Also Institue for Prosthodontics & Implant Dentistry has Prosthodontic & Implants specialist facilities(3 spacious rooms for general treatment , 1 surgery room, 2 maintenance rooms, counseling room, dental digital CT, etc.) dedicated to providing patients with solutions to missing teeth, loose dentures and aesthetically troubled teeth.
Nakai Dental Office/Institue for Prosthodontics & Implant Dentistry is based centrally in Kyoto accepting referrals from throughout the Kansai area for this very specialised aspect of dentistry.
What is PROSTHODONTIST?
A prosthodontist is a dental specialist in the restoration and replacement of teeth. Extensive training and education provide prosthodontists with the skills for restoring optimum function and aesthetics to your smile. These include: crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, complete and removable partial dentures, dental implants and cosmetic restoration.
Our Philosophy & Goal
Dr Nobuyuki Nakai
Dr. NAKAI received his DDS(Doctor of Dental Surgeon) degree in 1992, and also received his PhD degree in 1996 from Hirosima University, Japan. Then He became a registrant of GDC(General Dental Council, UK) in 1998, and worked at Dundee University Dental School, Scotland as a visiting lecturer with international grants from the British Council and the Wellcome Trust. After coming back to Japan, he served as managing director in the Denture & Dental Implants Clinic, Hiroshima University Dental Hospital. Now, he is a clinical professor of Nagasaki University School of Dentistry.

Committed to practicing excellence in dentistry and patient care, Dr. Nakai regularly attends continuing education courses on advanced clinical skills. Dr. Nakai also lectures to various the dental societies to share his clinical expertise.
